Polly Anna Sluss DeliasSubmitted by Dustin Heath ~

This photo is of Mary Polly Anna Sluss Delias. She lived most of her life in Scott county. She is my great, great grandmother. This photo was taken in 1948 a year before her death. She was 81 in this photo. She was born to Rufus Morgan Sluss of the infamous Sluss family massacre family and Sarah Elizabeth Brickley.

I cannot figure out how we would be related. My grandfather was Joseph Franklin Cogburn. If you have gone that far with your tree would you please tell me if we are second or third cousins.

My mother, Lula Mae Cogburn Wells didnt speak of her family when we were growing up. My siblings and myself are just meeting on FB our cousins, whome we have never met.

Our mom passed away March 16, 2010. I sure wish she would have had these pictures and we could have discussed them when she was alive. God Bless her

WOLFE Family of Scott/Russell Cos. VA mid to late 1790s. I have recently discovered internet info re: family of John Jacob WOLFE. I am particularly interested in any information on a listed son George WOLFE b. 1786 with no additional information. I would be very interested in communicating with anyone having additional information on this man. I am willing to share ALL family information I have on this POSSIBLE line.
