I am looking for any one who knew the family of George Pike 1815 NC & Jane about 1819 Va. They are on the 1850 Scott Co., Va Census. George and Jane are my Great Great Grandparents. I would like to know Jane’s maiden name and anything else I can find out. I do not know where in NC George came from, possibly Ashe Co., but have not found any documents any further back. Any help would be appreciated. I do know George had a brother James, also on the 1850 census in Scott Co., Va with his wife Lucinda. In his household a brother William.

    Tank you, Sharon

Any information on James Green Jr & his son William Wellington Green that names them both on a document. I also would like any information stories whatever on Blind Jim Green (son of WWGreen) and or his wife Mary Jane Day or her family and their kids in Sandy Hook KY.
If your looking for people who disappeared in the 1800’s look in Crandon, Wisconsin look also anywhere in Forest County or in Langlade County. There was a big migration there in the 1800’s of Elliott County people. They call Crandon Little KY (sorry VA) and they even have Kentucky Days every year. I am SUE part of the Spirograph (not tree) of names, so hello cousins. Any info for me get in touch at missmix48@yahoo.com

After I took the Ancestyr DNA test and got my mother to do the same, we found a lot of DNA matches to distant cousins who trace their line back to the Fletcher, Langford and Epperson families in Scott County, VA. Do you have any information about these families in the history of Scott County?
