Special Thanks

I want to extend my thanks to some special people for all their hard work, now and across the years in making this site what it is, and what it could be.

To Sheila Winterberg for answering my plea for help in posting all these wonderful photos. She took the chance and dove right in. And for all the wonderful headstones photos and transcriptions that many of us would never have the chance to see. Yay Sheila!

To Jean Brand for all the hours she spent scanning photos she had gathered from all over, and sending them to me along with the history of the folks pictured in them. Your generosity is inspiring. Thank you Jean, from the bottom of my heart.

To Joseph Marrs for an amazing amount of material, thank you!

To Bill Wood for the biographical information he sent along with his photos. Awesome!

To Stephen Rhodes, who sent me a cd-rom with ninety images (he said he had more but didn’t want to overwhelm me!), along with whatever facts he knew about each one. Another amazing contribution to Scott County researchers.

To Bobbie Nicholson who sent in a dozen or more photos, especially for the ones she sent showing the ROLLER home that has since burned down. Thanks honey.

To Karen Gibson-Burdue, Sue Chappel, Linda Sorrell, Mac McNutt, Jean Pierson, Genell, Donna Sisco… there are so many, I know I’ve left out some of you. Please accept my heart felt thanks for your willingness to share your treasures with all of us.
