My mother grew up in the Shawnee Childrens Home, and was told she was part native american and that her parents were named Mary Hale who married Ralph Black. She was born suposedly June 11,1934,and died Nov. 29,1997 in Lima,Ohio. If anyone can help me it would be deeply appreciated. I am trying to do a Family Tree for my grandkids, before i go meet my mother.Thank you. my name is Sherri

William A. Hale is my g-g-grandfather. According to my records, one of the missing children was a daughter named Tholie (no birth date available). Also, my data has Henry born 4/14/1896. I did not capture the source for data when I found this, so I cannot tell you where I got it.

Also, it is Robert Tonley Hale, not Robert H. Hale.

If you have any more data on the Hale family, or if I can help you fill gaps in Indiana, please email me at donowens38@gmail.com.
