I am looking for my mothers people, she died never knowing her real name. The birth certificate we obtained didnt look real and didnt say where she was born,It said she was born June 11, 1934 but the certificate wasnt filed til 1942. IT said her mothers name was Mary Hale and her father was Ralph Black, his partents were supposedly William Black and Susie Ann Steel or Steele and Mary’s parent were John Hale and Maragret Trusty both of the grand fathers and Ralph had been married more than once and their wives were considerably younger. If you could help with any info it would be very much appreciated! I’ve been working on our genealogy ever since my mother passed in 1997
