William P. PIERSON, born February 1857 in Scott Co. VA, the son of James D. PIERSON & Malinda PETERS. William died in 1939 in Meeker, Lincoln County, Oklahoma and is buried in the New Hope Cemetery in that county.
Eliza C. HORTON, born 1861 in Rye Cove, Scott Co. VA, the daughter of William A. HORTON and Elizabeth A. CARTER. There is a headstone for Eliza next to William’s in Meeker, Oklahoma but it is not known when she died.
William and Eliza were married June 29, 1878 in Scott County.
