This is wonderful ! I am doing my new son-law’s line so h(adam) and Heather will know about both theirs sides.
Joseph Dorton was a highly respected man. He won a seat in the Virginia State Assembly by a single vote but only served one term. I’m certain he was uncomfortable with political machinations which probably existed as they do in all periods of history. Louisa’s father was the Rev. James Fleenor. Charles Marrs was one of their grandsons.
