These documents were in the Chancery Court Case where Elizabeth Allen Treadway and her husband had taken her Uncle Hezekiah P. Neal to court asking for proof of what happened to her father’s Estate. This one was to account for the amounts Hezekiah had paid to himself for Executing.
NOTE: that in this particular Court Case, Elizabeth refers to Hezekiah as ” brother in law” of her father. Hezekiah refers to John Allen as his brother in law, and Esther Jane Neal Allen calls Hezekiah her Brother.

NOTE: Notice no total for the second set of bills. And why did they total it half way through? I think he needed to account for some extra money when he got took to court by Elizabeth and added some things here and there. There is this besides the notes he turned in that had and x for John’s mark when all other documents for John including his original will has a J for his mark. This second set of ” Bisness” here is in the same handwriting and spelling of the letter Hez. wrote as his answer to the court and some other things he did himself. The above was done by someone else.

At a Court held for Scott County the 16th day of September 1844:
This setlement of the executional account of Hezekiah P. Neil on of the executors of the last will and testament of John Allen decd. was returned to the court, and ordered to lie over till the next term for exceptions therto.
Atteste: John S. Martin C.S.C.
I wanted to comment on James Brickey who was married to Jaley Brickey Green, mentioned above. James was my great great grandfather. It was Matilda Sloan that lived with them, not Matilda Allen. There’s some mystery surrounding Matilda Sloan, but I have copies of several census records listing her name as Sloan. I would be interesting in getting in contact with anyone researching this family. Thanks

Are the pictures shown in the torn picture frames beside the articles , belong to the person or family of the person mention in the article?
Those are random pictures from the site. Sorry for any confusion. Are you interested in one of them? I could tell you what family they are from.
Pat, thanks for the reply, I have forgotten what family I was looking at when I emailed the question. I was looking at so many that day. I will be sure to ask the next time.
Pat, who is the older lady in the torn picture frame on the page of William and Nancy Campbell? Thanks, Judy
