Sarah Jane was the daughter of John Barnett and Elizabeth Johnston Barnett of Scott Co., VA lived on Big Ridge. Three of her daughters (Sarah, Mary and Rose) married 3 Davis brothers in Oklahoma. Photo taken before 1900 Indian Territory.

my grandmother was ada belle Barnett, her father was howard B. Barnett, do you know if we have any native american in our blood line!I know sarah jane Barnett married a malicoat,which was native american.I haven’t found any in howard B Barnett,but I am still learning how to find imformation.this is a great site!
My greatgrandmother was Sarah Barnett married to James Baxter Pierson. I have the Barnett genealogy and I have not found any Native American in my Barnetts. They orginated from Scotland. My Barnetts lived in the Big Ridge Section of Scott Co Va and owned 2000 acres. The Barnett cemetary is there with my ancestors. Hope this helps
