My father is Paul Butler. He was the son of Mack and Florence Butler of Ft. Blackmore. He was a FreeWill Baptist minister for 33 years prior to his death in 1989. He pastored in NC, SC, and VA. He married my mom, Etta Brickey, also from Fort Blackmore. She was the daughter of Jack and Frances Brickey of Ft. Blackmore. I have one brother. Doug Butler, and one sister, Sue Reese, both of which live here in North Carolina.

I am the daughter of Ralph and Beulah Flanary of Dungannon, Virginia and I attended Dungannon High School through the 6th grade. I graduated from Twin Springs High School in 1973. Nina Flanary, daughter of Rex Flanary, is my first cousin.

My siblings are Shelby Jean, Barbara Faye, Carolyn Sue, Edward Ralph, and Kathy Ann.

I am Lila Dooley’s grandaughter. Her brother Charles is #5 in the back row. He was the only one of her siblings I never met. None of her family pictures survived so I am thankful to have found this. By the way, she is alive and well at age 92. Thanks so much for sharing!
