macy belle was the daughter of william homer peters and martha ann davidson of scott county, va. She was born about 8/20/1892 in Little Moccasin. Her sister, Almeda Savannah Peters was my great-grandmother and she married Earl Taylor. Almeda and Earl had my grandmother, Macie Mae, who was named after Macey Bell.

I am the granddaughter of Nancy Cornelia Wallen Jones. She was the daughter of John George Wallen and Virginia Mahon. I guess we are cousins.

My name is Frances A. Peters and I live in Rotterdam , the Netherlands. On June 6, 1988 my father died in the Philippines and with him my family history.
His name was Paul Arnold Peters and he was born in Blackwater Virginia in 1930. His parents were Effie Lawson and Benjamin Peters and he had 3 brothers. Elmer, Lloyd and Garnie( I hope that’s how you spell it) The first and the last time I saw my father’s family was in 1956. I was 2 years old. I think this was also the last time my father saw his family. My father married my mother a Dutch girl, he met in Germany. My mother says that my father’s parents lived one mile from the state line in Tennessee or Virginia on a farm. You had to cross a railroad track to get to their house. There was also a creek or body of water near the road where my father almost drowned as a child. I have three children: Jeroen born in 1974, Gaia born in 1991 and Justin born in 1995. My husband is Dutch. My children have both the American and Dutch nationality. I would like know more about my father ‘s family . Does anyone out there know my father’s family?
Thank you for your time and bless you,

Frances Peters

Isaac Franklin Bledsoe, husband of Martha Josephine Murphy, was my father. Their children were Isaac Franklin, Jr, Claude Edward, Glenn Murphy(deceased), Mary Martha and Daniel Roger. I can remember going to see Aunt Alpha and Uncle Kyle when I was little. No one in this world could cook potatoes and cornbread like she could. Aunt macey was there at the house with them a lot of times that I can remember also. Uncle Garlie took me to the cemetery years ago where Isaac Wesley is buried. i would be happy to answer any questions anyone might have if I can. Delmer Wallen is also a good subject matter expert in genealogy.
